Rewired

A creative invitation to connect experiences of change.

Through a mosaic of mediums—memoir, art, and metaphor—Rewired offers the intrigue of creativity and the acceptance of community.

From Brain Injury to Creative Awakening

After multiple traumatic brain injuries changed the course of her life, Sab found an unexpected path forward through art. What began as personal healing evolved into Rewired—a body of artwork, prose, and a growing community that encourages both self-reflection and resonance with others.

“A simple brushstroke saved my life.”

Many Ways to Resonate

You don’t need to share the same story.

Rewired is broad-reaching and can be referenced regularly. It meets you wherever you might be, if:

  • You’ve experienced a shift in life that has you navigating uncertainty or a new direction

  • You’re drawn to creative ways of processing or making sense of change

  • You want to feel connected to others who can relate to what you’re going through

  • You appreciate a nature-inspired resource that invites reflection, not answers

What is “Rewired”?

Rewired represents our ability to adapt through change—which may not mean returning to who we were, rather discovering who we can become.

Creating Community

What began as one story and one exhibit grew into a 36-piece collection, a two-year tour, an array of connections and a wider conversation. Through shared stories during seven exhibits, and deeper contributions from fifteen other creatives, Rewired evolved into a expanding community — proving that creativity can bridge adversity and build belonging.

An Invitation to Explore

Rewired is an invitation to reflect, connect, and discover meaning in change — through art, story, and shared experience.

Because no matter what life brings…

We have the ability, within us, to adapt through adversity.
